Solid, thorough review; I appreciate the time you put into the review. I don't know if the review was enough to sway me to buy it though. Y'all gave it a thumbs up but I didn't hear the confidence in your voices though; not like I heard when y'all reviewed "The Great Debater,""Elmatic,"MMJB," or "The Return of 4Eva" Those I got off of the muscle of your reviews and was not disappointed. Someone in my camp has "Watch The Throne" or will be going to get it so I'll do like y'all suggested and give it time and several listening...but I don't know
It wasn't that there was a lack of confidence in our voices (well I can't speak for DD) but me, its hard for me to suggest an album like this to people. People just won't get it or take the time to even try and enjoy it as MUSIC and not as a Jay-z and kanye West album that's should stand the test of time. Out of all the albums you named, its not better than them, so thats why we may have sounded more "confident" recommending them. Like, if you hate THESE albums fuck YOU but with WTT its like.. oh yea well if u don't like it, we get it.. it either isn't for u, or you're a dumb ass. lol.. I appreaciate the detailed feedback tho. thanks Philly
